Less Hustle, More Making
The Rosiest Revolution is an arts & wellness nonprofit, built on the belief that community, craft, and connection are resistance to hustle culture.
We all deserve the space to slow down, to get our hands dirty, and to remember that we are more than our job titles. Plus, life's too short not to have fun ;)

Hi, I'm Rosie :)
I co-founded a creative consultancy in 2013 and began a nomadic life: No home base, 50+ countries, and projects with companies from Gibson Guitars to Google, from InterContinental Hotels group to Facebook (ahem, Meta, sorry).
I've seen technology companies employ hundreds of thousands of people to figure out how to keep you on your device. (Because they make a lot of money when you do that.)
Optimization culture tells you that your worth depends on your output. Or your sleep score. Or your diet.
And that constant pressure to do more, be more, to optimize every facet of life? It's eroding our collective joy, and our sense of selves.
I want to create opportunities for people to gather around tables instead of feeds, to make things with their hands instead of consuming endless content, and to build community through shared creative experiences. Through workshops, community events, public art, and hands-on learning, we’re creating spaces where people can reconnect—with their creativity, with each other, and with themselves.
I'm not naive -- I know we can't outspend the tech billionaires. But we can resist the mindset that tells us every moment must be productive, optimized or monetized.
I believe making things matters. That anyone can be an artist. And that communities grow stronger when people spend time together creating, learning, and sharing.
Let's stay in touch!
We'll share information about upcoming workshops, community events, markets we're participating in, and more.
WHAT WE'RE UP TO
At The Rosiest Revolution, we believe that we're better when we're working together. We love working with smart people who are trying to make good things happen in the world.

The Rosiest Revolution was recently awarded an Artists Work in Partnership grant from Arts Build and The National Endowment of the Arts. We'll be producing a project called Smashing The Patriarchy Leads to Shattered Ceilings, which explores how how women navigate the patriarchy in work and life. Subscribe to our newsletter to be kept in the loop.

Empty Bowls is an international grassroots initiative between ceramic artists and their communities to fight food insecurity. Our founder Rosie is co-chairing the board for Empty Bowls Chattanooga, and their annual event will be on November 16th, at The Signal.

Our founder Rosie is a recent graduate of the Holmberg Arts Leadership Institute, a program designed to help emerging arts leaders in the greater Chattanooga area. We highly recommend this program for anyone with a desire to support the arts. Once a month, you'll connect with cultural institutions, hear from experts in the area, and work with your cohort to support their initiatives.
WANNA PLAY?
Arts Retreats
We're scheming on multi-day creative retreats— making, thinking, eating, being in community while getting our hands dirty. Do you want to make in Mexico? Or create in the Cumberland Mountains? Let us know!
Corporate Workshops & Team Building
Our founder Rosie has 15 years of experience running creativity trainings for major companies. (Here are some testimonials from folks she’s worked with.) The Rosiest Revolution works with teams of all sizes, whether you need to build real connection, develop a specific skill, or just remember why making matters. Corporate engagements start at $2k, and yes, your payment is tax deductible. (We’re a 501(c)(3) remember?!) Your team feels good, you feel good. It’s a win-win. Shoot us an email to discuss specifics.
Our Beliefs
Society tells people: work first, live later. Hustle now, find yourself and what you love when you retire. Be messy and experimental, but only if you're a "real creative."
But we believe everyone deserves to play, and the space to experiment. Everyone's life's work should be their actual life, not some corporate project.
The Rosiest Revolution is built on four pillars—beliefs we learned by living differently. They're not revolutionary ideas, but living them can be a revolutionary practice. They're antidotes to a world that's convinced you to hustle, isolate, perform, and optimize. Here's what we believe, and why it matters.
